Bulk Gun Barrels with Teflon® industrial coating

Albion is proud to announce that our most popular bulk caulking guns are now available with barrels coated with non-stick TEFLON® industrial coating on the inside and outside.
The Teflon® industrial coating on the barrels of the DL-59 and DL-45 Bulk & Sausage Guns allows the pistons to move more smoothly and freely, thereby reducing trigger hand fatigue and wrist strain. Clean up time is also reduced as residual material wipes off easily.

Bob Reynolds has joined Albion Engineering Co.

I am proud to announce that Bob Reynolds has joined Albion Engineering Co.
as General Manager . I have known Bob for many years and am quite pleased he
elected to join the Albion team. He brings both solid business skills and
a life long knowledge in both sealants and dispensing tools.I have known
both Bob and his brother, Bill, for a very long time. Ironically, you could
say, like me, they grew up in the dispensing tool business for in the 1980's they took over their family businesses, Calbar, Inc. and Kenmar Manufacturing Co.
Calbar was a paint and caulk manufacturer and later a sealant & waterproofing products distributor in Philadelphia. Kenmar was a
caulking gun manufacturer. Actually, back in the 1930's it was Calbar's founder and
Bob's grandfather, Robert Calhoun, who pushed my grandfather into developing the first smooth rod caulking gun and changing the direction of Albion from an elliptical
gear manufacturer to a dispensing tool manufacturer. Most recently, Bob was
manager of waterproofing products for Marjam Supply Company in
Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware.
Albion's mission is to provide the market place with Dispensing Solutions in
the form of hand tools. Bob clearly will only enhance our ability to meet
our mission and strengthen our ability to service your needs.

Custom Applications Now Available

Albion Engineering announces the availability of custom applications for our battery powered E-Drive dispensing tools. The original E-Drive was developed to handle viscosity materials used in cartridge, sausage, and bulk applications. Some customers have requested that higher dispensing speeds are needed, while others preferred a higher dispensing force for twin cartridge applications. Let us know your requirements. Albion specializes in the design and manufacturing of dispensing tools for your application.

Due to overwhelming demand, Albion Engineering Company is pleased to announce the company’s relocation to a new facility. As of January 1, 2005 Albion Engineering will be closing its Philadelphia facility and will be operating from a new facility in Moorestown, New Jersey.
This move will allow the company to better engineer custom dispensing solutions while continuing to provide customers with the quality dispensing guns, tools and accessories they’ve come to expect.
This move to New Jersey comes after over 76 successful years in the same facility in Philadelphia. “We are excited about this move and are looking forward to offering our customers more customized dispensing solutions from our new facility,” says Mark Schneider, President/CEO of Albion Engineering Company.
